Haven't heard much and I'm wondering about the 2x unit? What do you have to share?

Aimpoint X2 is a bomb.

Not enough for real mag - yet too sloe for fast CQB usage.

I agree if you want magnification Aimpoint 3X magnifier in LaRue pivot behind Comp ML3 or M4 is the ticket.

Beat me to it.

The other option is the 1-4x variable route like I took.

- 1x is a 14.5" LMT with an EoTech.
- 4x I use my 20" Colt with an ACOG.

They are a lot harder to lug around than a single AR with a variable scope, but they are twice the fun too.
