Buy whatever you want, but you should realize that wingshooting and clays are pursuits of athleticism. I would use a short barrel shotgun if that's all I had, but you are needlessly handicapping yourself buying a gun not suited to your intended sport. A good clays or bird gun is well balanced, fits without "aiming" and is an extension of the shooters hand/eye coordination. So-called "Tactical" shotguns are designed to be aimed, not pointed and swung. Stock design, balance, and sight picture are all ill suited to wing shooting. But they can be pressed into service. You can also play hockey with golf clubs!
