Well everyone this might put my wife over the top.

I ordered a couple of pistols that she will want to kill me with when she finds out. I ordered a Beretta 92FX Inox and a CZ shadow both in 9mm. (couldn't decide on what to get so I am getting both)

I say this because this will now be seven hand guns in about seven weeks.

I must admit she can be understanding, she did buy my Beretta Xtrema2 for me as a birthday gift.

Its a love and an addiction I must admit.

Cheers,

Bob

HAHA! More power to you.

I too have to keep going to battle with my wife over my addiction.

The press is on back order from cabelas. I purchased a hornady ap press. I wanted in on the deal with 1000 bullets with the press and 250 I think with every set of die's. when evey thing said and done the press was free when I get the bullets. Well thats how I justified it anyway.

Divorce? Not a chance.... she'd give up any claim to the life insurance that'll result from YOUR DEATH DUE TO NAGGING! ! ! ! !

Actually it likely won't get that far. You're in far more danger from bleeding to death from the glass cuts resulting from the shriek that occurs and shatters every glass, cabinet door and outside window in the entire house once this latest purchase comes to light.

:D

I'm as bad as you are. Get a new hobby and I go crazy. I anticipate obtaining probably 7 or 9 guns over the next few (likely VERY few) months before I settle down.

I explained it to my woman like this:guns are an investment, and hold their value. Its better then just spending the money with nothing in return. This works for ammo as well. I showed her how the price on guns and ammo is only going up, and that now is the time to buy. It worked!!!

Hey BC sounds like we might be related.

As for our wife's, mine tells me everything she buys only costs 20 bucks and she really thinks a believe it.

I just know that I could not spend $200 on a pair of Ugg boots and sleep at night that's just not right.

Damn I love this hobby.

What's next? I would really like a .22 revolver with a red dot scope. That would a nice addition to the family.

Well, you obviously are bragging on here and seem quite confident with your purchase. It's a shame you have to post a divorce status even though , you know it's not going to happen. I'm sure your wife supports you 100%
I'm trying to figure out why guys put down the women they love....
( keep in mind fella's I'm tipsy tonight and will speak and do whatever freely):slap:

Any man that lets his wife tell him what he can and can't purchase....

Needs to grow a pair and tell the broad to mind her business.

Honestly...what business is it of a wife to say what you can and can't own/purchase? Maybe I'm just lucky that mine trusts my judgment completely.

Then again, if she didn't, she wouldn't be much of a 'wife' would she

i let jason buy whatever he wants as well. Ive never said he couldnt. I probably should :p hahaha. But i wouldnt. But when he came home with 9 guns one night, i wasnt that impressed

none the less hes a grown man with his own money. its not like its a shared bank account * which we will never have* so hes allowed :)

Well, I'm a two time retread with no official anchor at the moment so I can only speak (type?) from a historical point of view.... :D

I'm looking at .22's myself to get in some trigger and target time on the cheap. I've shot an old S&W model 34 and WHAT a nice little gun it is. Sadly it belongs to a 12.6 holder and that's where it'll stay... unless it can be upgraded to restricted category with a barrel swap. It's a tiny little thing that would also benifit from a big fat wood grip being added to the setup. The big advantage for me is that it is light enough that the .22 LR's actually make it kick a little instead of just sort of going "phimp.... in your hand. I know this may be blasphamy to the serious tight grouping and bullseye shooters but I like this new hobby/sport BECAUSE the guns kick a little and have a life in them. Otherwise we may as well just shoot sub 500 fps air pistols and rifles and be happy.
