Anyone hear from Marstar?

I just ordered a M305 from Marstar. Keith mentioned there were only a hundred or so left.
To those on the fence, don't wait too long or you'll miss out.
 
Johnone, you mentioned in another post that this was the LAST container of M14S that were coming over. Curious what is behind this - is Norinco not manufacturing them anymore, or has the pain and suffering that you go through to get them into Canada finally got the best of you ?
 
Now that you mention it, I read that somewhere too, but they keep coming in.

I read the following from John on another CGN thread:

" ... ... it is not 100 rifles, we received a full container load of them, however 90% or better are already sold....
And YES you are right, this is the last container load...."

and I got curious what finally happened :confused:
 
MJL; Ok here goes again, Norinco stopped making M-14s when the US embargo went into place several years ago....

A few years ago we purchased all remaining inventory of parts, we had the factory assemble said parts into completed rifles.

The containe that recently arrived in Canada contained the LAST of our rifles, we do not have any more after these are sold....

That said, we do have other interested toys "in the works" I can only hope that we can craete a cult following similar to that of the M-14.

Well if the new toys are reasonably priced like the M14 I'm sure they will fly out the door just as fast . Would be nice to have a hint of what they may be but I know that would be asking too much from you

If you read this John can you tell me if & when you are getting any more LP-SCP3-1564L1 scopes ?

Anything is possible, however we have chosen not to enter into the SKS debate at this time....

As you know, Marstar does not discuss or offfer any products unless they are on the way in (ie; we have documents in hand) or in our warehouses....

There too many things that can go wrong and we never want to get your hopes up and then let you down because of some shipping, transit, export, import problems, etc, etc....

Not to be cheeky...but did you ever get a final word on the AIA's in 7.62X39
