I find that my cooey 20 gauge just doesn't #### fast enough at those crucial moments. Part of the problem, i think, is the narrowness of the hammer. I'd like to put an extension on it, but none of the models are spcified for such an old gun. Has anyone tried this? Is there a product anyone recommends?

This is a workhouse bushwhacker, so I don't care how it looks, as long as it works.

Take a piece of round stock (steel or aluminum), centre drill one end and tap for a set screw. Drill through the horizontal to allow you to widen a notch, enough to slip over the hammer. Emboss the trigger extension how you want it to prevent slipping of your thumb.

That sounds so simple. I'll give it a go!
