Bought a Glock....and I'm liking it.

Took it out today, along with my Beretta 96 in .40S&W. Shoots pretty well, though I found the Beretta to be much more comfortable, or perhaps familiar, to grip and shoot.

Here are two targets, first the Beretta and second the Glock. Both 10 shots at about 15yrds.

This is from the last magazine I put through the Glock, this was the first shot. I shot the other 9 at another target.

If you are going to reload for your Glock for any .40cal where you may be using brass fired from a Glock get the Lee resizing die. I replaced my Dillon with one. The Lee sizes down further on the case ironing out the infamous .40 cal Glock bulge.

I collected my brass and the Glock ones are buldged, I'll look into that.

What's not to like about Glocks? Simple and reliable, it's all they try to be.

I have the same issue with my G17. I use a Lee factory crimp die to squeeze it out of the brass. I have never had a problem with using these cases for reloads to run back through the Glock, but the bulge prevents them from being used in another pistol.

Your bullets will go everywhere except where you want them.

Incorrect, Glocks can be prone to Limp wristing, keep your wrists locked.

Sure easy, I can have my G17 eject casing straight up about 6 inches above the gun then fall back on the slide because of limp wristing. Still my favorite gun.

Hey, nice pistol!

I don't own any Glocks & all my friends look at them funny... But I say if you have found a pistol that works for you, run with it. Don't mess about with all the doo-dads and gimmicks. Learn to shoot the pistol as is and learn to do it well.

I have never been able to make a Glock jam from limpwristing shooting with one hand. Maybe others have had better luck.

I think the problem is that they have a limp wrist, nothing's wrong with the Glock just because it won't jam for you

My friend limpwrists the gun and jams it on the first shot every time. I don't have any problems when I shoot, so it has to be that.

The Glock wins just because every trigger pull is the same. That first DA shot with the Beretta may as well be shot into the ground for all it's worth.

I never thought I would buy one. A Glock 22 .40S&W. This is a very cool pistol. I will take it out this weekend and see how it shoots. After that I will look into some of the mods I've read about for making the trigger nicer and probably get an extended slide stop.

You have few months at best to enjoy it before the new government bans handguns. Enjoy!!

anyone elses gock 22 not like to accept a full 10 rounds in a mag while the slide is closed, i can do it with 9 round sin the clip but it will not let a full 10. normal?

Some of my mags can be hard to get in with 10 rounds, but I only have to push a little harder and it clicks.

ya i didnt try to force it cause i didnt want to break it before i even got to shoot it lol, maybe ill put a lil more force
