looking for a good fore/vert grip .
Who sells them up here or can I order one over the web from the US ?
Are there any produced with the switch and not fixed at 90 degrees which locks to the rail via thumb lever ?
Which manufacture is better or is something that's pretty generic .

CADEX folding vert grip w/ compartment ?

Well I'll take some of the heat off you for jokes. I would like to know what you asked, but I also want to know why use a foregrip? What is the point of one? To me they look like added weight. I dont understand what the benefit is.

Let the insults and jokes at my expense begin!

They all work

Aluminum is usually better , but some of the plastics are pretty good , Get the design that fits your needs - they all work well - faster point , greater speed on double taps due to recoil control etc.
I like the israeli fab t-pod because it becomes a very stable adjustable bipod and is lighter than a fore grip and bipod. Expensive tho --

The FAB is good for sure. To be honest i dont think there could be anything more useless than a folding forgrip... there is NO point in having one IMHO and theres way better ones out there with compartments

You might want to check out my review. The t-pod has a significant design flaw.

To answer the OP, I like the plastic vfg's because they manage heat better. Beyond that, TD if you don't need to take it on and off regularly, and I'm not sure what if you do (larue fug? td/adm combo?). The stubbies suit my developing style, and are easier to transport etc. because they're relatively compact.

I prefer stubby sized FVG's.... the TDI Arms stubby is nice and mimics and mp5k style, and the tango down stubby is my favorite except for the pain in the ass to install.... those twin clips are a biatch but you know its not going anywhere.

Tango Down looks good then?
I've always been a fan of metal parts but no so much for the heat transfer. Just make sure I have it in the right position for my arm, shoulder, line of sight. If I get the setup right it doesn't much matter if it a pain in the ass to move.

I personally dont like the shape of the Tango Down one - and got rid of all of mine (except maybe one).

Predominately I use KAC, I've broken some, but worst case if I break it at work, I dont use the grip...

I kinda like the Larue FUG, but some serious concerns about its Delrin construction are nagging at me and stopping me from getting more.

I have 3 of them and got 2 for pals - none of us has had problems. - been using one on a 13 lb. rifle for over a year - still no problems. You may have gotten a lemon.
But I will start slamming one down hard and see what happens - the warranty is good.

I also like the T-pod when collapsed into a grip it feels solid and functions well. When in bipod configuration it is also solid and adjustable. I have no complaints with mine. Plus the warrantee is forever.

I'm a big fan of TD... I have one full size and one stubby. Going to get more. There's a trick to getting them on, but the are definitely tight. I put them on and adjust them and then don't touch them again so tight is good to me.

FYI the CADEX grip was designed by Jay Taylor - former PPCLI turned JTF-2. I'm not a big fan - but several high speed folk down here (USA) seem to like them.

There have been way too many failures with the CADEX grip to even consider one, I put it in the pile with FAB, UTG,TDI and the rest of the useless airsoftish crap.
I am pretty much exclusively using Tango Down grips, there are a couple old KAC ones mixed in though.

I use tango down. KISS for grip. A grip is a grip....they pretty much look the same and do the same thing. Really don't know why it needs to fold and do some other things.

Thing I don't like about the Tango Down is the shape. I prefer the TDI shape for a stubby grip cause its easier to hang on to (for me at least).
