Range report - Tikka 22-250

As promised, here is the range report for the new Tikka I bought. I know the results are nothing to write home about, but I am very impressed considering this target was shot with winchester whitebox ammo from Walmart (45 gr JHP).

Plan on getting into reloading really soon and hopefully shrink these groups even more.

Any advice on starting loads known to produce accurate groups? I read that 55 gr vmax with 38 grains of H380 is a good load. Any opinions?

Nice little setup you got going on there. My Tikka shoots suprisingly well with that Walmart stuff too.

The load you mention would be a good place to start. H380 was named because 38.0 grains of it tended to be very good load in 22-250. Half the fun of reloading is load development and tinkering around until you find something that works well in your rifle.
