Personal protection loads?

Hey, I was curious about the availability of defensive cartridges for handguns. All I see around here seems to be FMJ's.

Where do you get yours?

Because the anti's can kiss my ass and if they want to become a victim, they can negotiate with the home invaders.

If someone kicks in your front door in the middle of the night, try harsh language. For the rest of the sane World, hollow point pistol ammo was designed for one thing. Whether or not that one thing gets abused is irrelivant, but it's purpose is for personal defense. Personally, a few hundred pellets of #4 birdshot would be my choice.

If you ever bother to check on the side of a pistol ammo box, you will find a type of rating that uses thoses termes or the like, depending on the manufacturer.

Should we rename the "small game" rating so we won't tick off PETA?

wad cutters are easy to come by.... makes nice perfectly round hole's in thing's and wont over penetrate

Thanks for the info guys. Please let me know If you see some good prices on some .45 Auto as most do not price their ammo on their sites.

Now, what's good or not out there? Winchester SXT's, Federal Hydroshock, Remington Golden Saber, Hornady HP/XTP or Speer GDHP?

I would give a thumbs up to the last two choices or Hornady' TAP ammo.
