So I've been looking around a for a compact scope and I can't seem to find any that aren't made in China. I'd like either a 6x32 or a variable 3-9x32, preferably with an A/O.

This is the closest thing I've found, but I don't know what to think of optics from Crosman...

Is there a decent comact out there that will take some abuse, or do I have to get a bloody ACOG?

Hey Tyler, a couple come to mind depending on what you want to spend and what caliber of gun it's going on. A few choices with Leupold; VXI 2-7x28 $280, VXII 2-7x28 $420, VXII 3-9x33 $480, VXII 1-4x20 $390 or for a bit less Nikon Monarch has a 2-7x28 and for less yet Burris makes a Fullfield II in 2-7x28 and a 3-9x32. All quality scopes which you may be able to pick up used for even less.

Nikon Buckmaster 3x9x40

Try out the Buckmaster 3x9x40 no A/O, but the glass is wicked. Have 1 on a .22WMR Savage, Nikoplex Ret, and another on T/C Endeavor .243 BDC.........
Go to your local store and physically check the glass out , Check out Leupolds, Bushnell 4200 and 6500 glass and price , then check the Nikon Buckmaster Glass and price

Anyone familiar with the Leupold?
IMO ... The Leupold 2x7 is the perfect all around LW hunting scope. It's smaller than most, but doesn't give up anything due to size. It's lightweight, fits well on most rifles, has a great warranty and does everything I need it to due during legal hunting hours.

I own four of them.

Falcon menace makes a smaller 1.5-5x scope.

Also try looking at Marstar or on e-bay fro NCSTAR if you want budget

Nightforce makes a 2.5x10x28 , very compact and brilliantly clear. Also priced accordingly, but you DO get what you pay for.

Got one of these 2.5-10x24 on my tavor, excellent optic. Its about 10 inches long and have capped turrets which are quite low profile too.

There is also a new model with a 32mm objective, its slightly longer and uses exposed turrets.

vortex viper series, or diamond back series. They are both great optics. The diamond backs are a hair above the vx-I line, and the vipers are a hair ahead of the vx-II line. I even have a viper 2-7x32 that I may be selling if you are interested, its brand new, but I sold the gun it belonged to and now it doesnt have a home lol.
