I am pondering what scope to use. I have a 3-9x Conquest that might be a interesting combo with 350gr X at 2900fps+
Is yours a Mk V also? What loads are you shooting?

Yes mine is Mark V, I use standard factory loads 500 Grain Soft Point.
The thing I like about is the Weatherby Pendulum muzzle brake.

I would not worry about the lack of elephants in the Calgary area. The intelligence of elephants is quite under rated. Since I purchased my 460 over twenty years ago, I have not had a single elephant in my GTA backyard. Some how the elephant KNOW!

MTM , had that Rifle at the Mission Range last fall , i was shooting beside him With my .338 , My poor hunting Partner was on the Bench between us useing his .06 ( his ears are still Ringing !! ), Thats an awsome rifle it sounds like a small artillery peice going off

Ya I'm kindy skinny on the big end now. Just got a 375, 416 Rigby and 458 left. Will hardly be able to defend myself while hunting. Seriously, that is a beautiful rifle, flawless bedding from the factory and very accurate. Load her down or limit yourself to 6-8 rounds per outing.
