I woke up to a surprise as my package arrived this morning. It seems Christmas comes twice this year! For those of you who don't really care for details, I'll summarize my thoughts in one neat sentence: this is an improved USP with exceptionally comfortable grip.
That said, I promised pictures... so here we go!
This first one is a side by side comparison of the USP9 and P30L. (Aesthetics aside, the latter has night sights.)

While both grips appear fairly large, you can clearly see the difference between the USP's "brick-ish" grip and the P30L's elegant, practical curves.

Here is a picture of the USP and my hand, for reference.

Same thing, but with the P30L... notice the more compact grip. Believe me, the new design makes an incredible difference. It's night and day.

My hand size is fairly average, so here it is next to the P30L.

Now, for a small range report:
- 1 Deg Celsius
- 3:45pm
- Wind negligible
- Distance 10 meters
Function testing went perfectly with Winchester Winclean. In fact, the recoil was so light that my friend had to dodge some of the casings. I didn't seem to have a problem with that, so I suspect it was in the way he was holding the pistol.
I only had one box of ammo on hand and shared it with my friend, so here are the first 20 shots on a pre-existing target at the EOHC. Flyer aside, I think that was about a 3"-3.5" grouping shot at a moderate pace (1 shot per 2 seconds).

I shot the final 10 for precision and came up with a 1.5" group. My friend had a few flyers that ended up on the orange board, so ignore those.

I'm extremely happy with the pistol so far. I will update whenever I get more ammo/time at the range. If you have any questions, shoot...
