Cast Bullets for 45acp

There's a guy from Sask selling nice cast bullets each year at the Brandon gun show. I don't remember the name, but I'll take a look at the tub they came in when I get home to see if there's some contact info.

probably plains ammunition supply- he's a small op out of gull lake or thereabouts- i've been using his stuff for years and it's a good hard cast- harder than most- he's not on the net or whatever, you might have to land line and if you're anywhere near there, take a drive- shipping 38-40 pounds of bullets will kill you in shipping

+1 for the Bullet Barn. They make quality bullets, are reasonably priced, ship fast and were sponsors for our IDPA Provincials last year.

Take care

Good info to know Bob as ive gotten in contact with them about 9mm and 38super rds. I'll have to go back and checkout the .45rds as well. Local casters are better on shipping (not as far)

Let them know you appreciate their support of our Provincial Tournament. It is nice for them to know their support of our shooting sports results in increased patronage from shooters.

Plains Ammunition is good stuff, I get mine from a local dealer in Winnipeg but they do show up at the Brandon gun show with a lot of stock.

I've gone through many thousand, 9mm, 40 and 45. They are accurate in my guns and consistent.

x2. Lois is great to deal with. I've bought bullets for my .44 Mag. and 45-70 from them. And this month they have a 15% off sale, which might help to defray the shipping costs (which are of course out of their control.)

I just ordered a box of 200 gr. SWC for my .45s (a S&W 625 and a SA 1911A1). I was tempted to order the RNFP (as per poster Phoenix here) but wasn't sure they would feed well in the 1911. I ought to have asked Lois to throw a few of them in the box.

:) Stuart
