The gospel according to Browning

Something is just right about the simplicity of the design,

Gotta call you on that man. simplistic design for its time perhaps, compared with modern pistols like glock :stirthepot2: there is no comparison for simplicity.

Not saying either pistol is "better" but it's obvious which is more "simple".

yes simple is good when it just has to work

more parts more chance it will jam up sometime sooner then later.
 
Since the title of this thread is "The Gospel according to Browning" I thought I'd add my 0.02. A very religious man indeed. No Joke.

From Wikipedia:

Browning belonged to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a two year mission in Georgia beginning on March 28, 1887. His father Jonathan Browning, who was among the thousands of Mormon pioneers in the mass exodus from Nauvoo, Illinois to Utah, had established a gunsmith shop in Ogden in 1852.

I don't know, trigger-grip safety up -disconnector - sear -hammer - bang don't know how that could be complex.
