I've got a friend who owns a TRW manufactured M-14.
He is thinking of selling it and wants to know what it might be worth.
I figured since it was a full auto conversion he should either kit it out (without receiver) or part it out entirely.

I told him I have no idea what it is worth but I'd find out.

Please DON'T part it out they are just TOO Nice!!!
I've seen them go from ,( condition dependant) a low of $1,000 to an asking of $2,000(Zefarm website)-- it's been there for quite some time though.
Ad it on the "EE",---- again ,it'd be a shame to turn her to scrap !!!----- Proud owner

Parts?

.Well if you do part it out, let me know. Or at least give me and others on the board an opportunity to purchase the parts. The concept of spreading around the goodies is greatly appreciated.
On the other hand, good luck selling it as is.

well if he EVER wants to get any use or value out of it, those are the only two options at the moment- right now UNLESS HARPER DOES SOMETHING, all m14s are relegated to the safe, and you can't ship them stateside b/c they have a law down there that says they can't re- enter the us- besides they are still CLASSIFIED AS MACHINE GUNS by the batf- so there's only 3 options- sell it to another 12(3) , sell it as parts, or put on a new receiver like a norc or lrb or something and then do as you please with it- since you're in b/c from your avatar, 45acpking would be the one to bother with this stuff

i heard my name hehehe
i welcome your p.m. if you have questions.
for a local sale of the complete rifle, reciever and all, I have a 12(3) liscenced buyer for you if you are interested. This rifle should be kept complete as it is, parting it out would be a shame. TRW's arguably represent the "best of the breed" and would complement any 12(3) holder's collection. I have no problem breaking down winnies and H&R's but a trw....... even i cringe a lil :D

I hate threads like this. I want one so badly that my teeth hurt, but here I am in the good ol US of A where the damn thing was made and I can't have it. C#$%^&*()P.

you're damned right- i seen what you did with that receiver, and am amassing funds- i also have a trw- and a springy and an h&r- what we REALLY NEED is a reversal of the oic that put the things prohibited in the first place- mine was NEW IN GREASE when i got it-only been fired for "inspection"
