Title says it all: I want a Remington genuine 2-shot magazine extension for a 18 1/2" barrel (measured from the breech).
If not available, I would look for a Wilson Combat one.
Where can I find these? Casey Brouwer doesn't stock Remington parts anymore. CORRECTION: I misunderstood his message and not seeing the parts on his site made me believe he didn't have them anymore. Hope this is cleared now.:redface::redface:

They list them, but if they have them is another story.

Try BBB and if not why not get Casey to make you a custom to length one? Check the EE also.

And FWIW if your going for a flush look, which I think looks the best and is worth it, for your 18.5 barrel you want a +3 shot extension for it to be flush IIRC.

I think that would go past, my 870 18" has the 2 shot and it is flush.

Just to clarify, I still sell Remington Parts and I do have a couple of +2 Remington Extensions. I just do not have any +3's or accesss to any right now. I also have the Vang Comp Systems +2 extensions.

Hello Casey. My bad for the misunderstanding.
Do you think I'll need the +2 extension to be flush with the muzzle?
If need be, I can give you the length between the front face of the barrel attachment ring and the muzzle; would probably be a better way of measuring, I guess. I also want the barrel clamp.
Send me a PM for the amount $ you need.
Thanks.:)

I measured the length of barrel from the front face of that barrel attachment ring and it is exactly 6 3/4" to the muzzle.
The attachment ring has a ball detent for the magazine nut and the barrel surface looks like it has been bead blasted then treated to a black parkerized or black oxyde finish.
It has a raised bead on a small pedestal and is marked "Remington Arms Company Ilion NY", "12GA. 2 3/4" or 3" " and a very small "CYL".
It looks just out of the factory box.

By reference to your 6 3/4" measurement, you have an 18.5" late model Expess barrel.

A factory REM 2 round extension will be almost flush with the muzzle. The extension will stick out past the barrel by exactly 1/16".

If you had an early model Police barrel, then the barrel would measure 18" and the same extension would stick out past the muzzle by 7/16".

WOW! That's precision!:D Thanks, Easy!
Somehow, I always knew these forums were THE place!
