I picked up a new spiffy Stoger Coach gun. It has beautiful wood, stainless steel, (nikkel, whatever). Put a bunch of rounds threw it and have no complaints. Shot some light upland/skeet loads, 00buck and slugs through the little fella, Blasted some clays too. I like the double triggers and the impr mod and mod chokes are just fine for what its for. Intimidating as hell. Only paid $500 and is a good deal imo. just thought I'd let you all know.

Cheers

^^ What he said.

Coach guns are fun stuff. I recently picked up a Baikal coach gun for 300 shipped, very slightly used. Took it out to the trap range and actually did pretty good with it! :D It'll be my dedicated grouse gun, can't wait for next season.

I'm happy with mine as well. I got the Coach Supreme, damn nice for the price. I mentioned somewhere else though, my forestock is a little loose. It was like that from new, out of the box. Not too big of a deal.
It shoots great, shoulders quicker for me than any of my other guns and it's just got the right feel. It's also great fun to pull both triggers at the same time, makes a wicked sound.
I might just have to get the over/under as well !

The Coach gun looks nice.

However, my brother just bought the Uplander-Non-deluxe version.
After about two shots, it would no longer shoot through the right barrel. The pin would hit down but nothing would ignite. It wasn't an ammo problem, it did this every time, and the odd time the left barrel would not fire as well.

Brought it to a gunsmith and got it back today, so we're going to try it out again this Saturday.

did you pick it up online? does anybody know how stoeger is to deal with getting somehting into canada?
