i had the convertible- first of all, the front sight was built WAY TOO HIGH- even with everything cranked out she still shot 8 inches low at 25 with the 45 colt cylinder installed- notice the lack of the word long?- that was with FACTORY loads - it was even worse with the acps, being lower velocity- i ended up using it as a 45 colt about 10x as much as the 45acp, but it's no trouble to change from one to the other- as far as the convertible goes, it's a gimmick- she could also shoot cloverleafs, just WAY LOW= got mine at wholesale sports, but they're not all that hard to come by- if you must have one, by all means get it, but the "magic" wears off very quickly- and i have 2 45 1911s-
