How are they different than a double action to load/unload?
Double actions, the whole cylinder swings out, hit the extractor and dump'em all. Single action you have to do one at a time, through the little gate on the right side. That's my ONLY beef with my Ruger Single Six. Otherwise, I highly recommend them. Loads of fun, and revolvers can use any 22 load, shorts, LR, even Floberts. Plus the 22WMR cylinder.
