any reason why glock23's arent for sale?

ah thanks, figured there was a reason.. glock 22 it is then. or maybe extended barrel ones.. hmm.. choices choices..

theyre prohibited due to barrel length, so no one in canada can just import them and sell them. Questar sells them by putting the 106mm barrels in the guns stateside, re-registering them as restricted, and then importing them into Canada. Its a fair bit more expensive, but if ur set on a 23, its ur best option. i picked up a G27 from them earlier this year, same deal.

Keep in mind that an aftermarket barrel would disqualify a pistol from IPSC Production Division.

I did not suggest that a 23, or any Glock, was particularly competitive in IPSC.

He was talking - specifically - 22 vs. 23. In my opinion, the fact that the 22 could be used in Production and the aftermarket barrelled 23 cannot is something that he should realize.

to add to this topic btw, i like how they extended the 23 barrel, its a big F-U to the government for thinking shorter barrels on legally owned and registered handguns somehow prevents crime or whatever sillyness they got going on, and its a "in your face, FU govey" statement.. its cool

I'll let you touch mine

I used my 22 in prod...Man do I ever want a real 23

your poor poor non 12(6) SOB....whats your Dad gonna do with that cute little Mustang when he no longer needs it?

PS...does your sister want a 12ga single shot? (yes yes, free of course)

What Mustang? You sold it before he could snag it!

As for the SG...I'll ask. very kind of you as we are going to get into clay birds this winter.

In a way, I can see your point. Unfortunately, the powers that be are probably 100% convinced that the only thing stopping the Glock 23 from going out on a rampage to kill 40 children holding puppies is that little fugly (IMO) length of barrel sticking out of the front of the gun.

agreed, not very esthetically pleasing, why glock 22 is the best choice i think, its a shame the goverment has us mangling our guns just to stay within their wacky guidelines, and just so the goverment knows, there is people hapilly concealing machetti's and such, and larger handguns are still easily concealable.. so there is no logic or reasoning behind it, not to mention its the illegal guns that are being used in crimes, like seriously what kinda a$$hole would use his legally owned and registered handgun to go kill someone

just sucks that they got all these silly rules, taking more and more of the fun outta gun ownership pointlessly

yep yep, those glock 23's are the source of all evil, they are all cursed by the african witch doctor SHNU SHNU and use mystical forces to make u wanna go kill kids and baby kittens.. atleast according to canadian goverment, but glock 22's are ok tho.
