I just shot this for the first time. I must say it is an outstanding rifle. Extremly accurate. Should be good for the gophers this summer.

I have one. A real tack driver! Only complaint is the trigger pull is a bit heavy.

Never owned one, but took 3rd in a local match in the late 70's with a friends. The great part is there were tgt guns shooting also

I had a 39 as, great looking rifle and a good shooter, traded it off on a BL22. just as accurate and quite a bit smaller and lighter. FS

Mine wasn't so good either. I got a trigger job done, now breaks at 2.5 lbs no creep or grit.

Just picked up a 39M - the "Mountie" version, 20" barrel and straight grip. Love it, but haven't fired it yet. Will go on our annual boxing day rabbit hunt, and I'm really looking forward to it!

My 1958 39A-Mountie with trigger job, Redfield 70 series sight and sourdough is absolutely the last rimfire I would ever part with. Great old rifles!

I found a Golden Mountie about eight years ago at General Gun in Windsor. New condition $250. Great gun, light, classic looks and very accurate. A keeper for sure.

I have one here that I got on a trade from a buddy.He bought it new,scoped.
He said that he only fired about 5 boxes of ammo.I have not shot it yet.Must make a note to take her out in the spring.DAN>>>
