hey interested in starting realoding soon and just wodnering some prices on powder/primers/bullets (sorry dont have a very good gun shop around here so its hard to get local prices)

so would anyone be able to give me some very basic prices for some .311 bullets for a .303 brit

large rifle primers?

1lb of powder?

if anyone could help me out that would be great jsut looking for basic prices here ive also emailed epps with some pricing requests.

thanks guys, Ben

thanks alot man sweet site i thought u coudlent mail order powder?

Yes you can mail order powder, primers and loaded ammo, but it cannot be shipped by Canada Post. It must be shipped by an approved carrier, like DHL or Canpar.

Wholesale sports also has a decent website for checking prices, at least relatively. Local prices will be higher than their prices in most cases.

so a basic calculation i did was for 100 rnds of .303 british

bullets (hornady $25)
cases (didnt add a price as i have saved up several from factory ammo for now)
powder $15 for 100 rnds 40 grain load
primers $3
$7 for other supplies (case lube, cleaning media, etc)

so is it beliveable that i could load 100 rnds of .303 for around $50?

That sounds about right yes, if you do not have to buy brass, with standard cup and core softpoints, you can figure on about 1/2 the price of similar factory ammo.
