Hi Gents has anyone here heard of this handgun which is now the most powerfull handgun in the world. The gun fires a .600 Nitro express magnum made by H&H and cost $40.00 each round. The handgun weighs 13.5 lbs and can only be fired from a gun rest. I can e-mail the article for anyone who wants to see this monster but it costs $16,500.00 so you would have to have lots of play cash to buy one.

I see what you mean by the video guys but thats not the gun I was talking about. The gun I was talking about is an actual revolver and is magnaported to compensate for the kick but if all you want to do is make ignorant comments to a question dont bother. I never sugested it was a practical gun and in the add it was suggested it was for hunting Elephants which I dont agree with anyway. To me it was just a curio.

the gun in the video is a thompson center "encore", a single shot target gun that can be made in any caliber, it weights 6lbs and pretty much uncontrolable when fired

Pretty sensitive huh? It is a retarded gun, but I still enjoyed looking at it.

By all means, I think that pistols of this sort are incredible works of engineering - if you consider the energy that they are containing, it really is amazing. I've fired pistols in .308 and .223 and Desert Eagles in 357/41/44 and 50, and thought that they were pretty manageable. One thing I know for sure with very powerful handguns, if they don't leave you bleeding (and sometimes if they do), they definitely leave you smiling. I certainly wouldn't want to buy a 'cheap' pistol in that calibre.

Reminds me of Red Heat (anyone remember that movie?)

Art Ridzik: Captain Danko, congratulations. You are now the proud owner of the most powerful handgun in the world.
Ivan Danko: Soviet Patparine, nine-point-two milimeter, is world's most powerful handgun.
Art Ridzik: Oh, come on, everybody knows the .44 Magnum is the big boy on the block. Why do you think Dirty Harry uses it?
Ivan Danko: Who is Dirty Harry?
