But tools are very high on thieves hit lists as well as they are pricey, always in demand with a great underground market for them.

a thief should never be stealing a toolbox with your handguns in it anyway, since it shouldnt be leaving your possession for longer than it takes to pay for gas

that said, the mtm case was $6 at WSS, holds 4 handguns, and had the foam in it already. Still seems a lot cheaper than the other options discussed. (breifcases are expensive)

found mine in a junkyard while i was dropping my own junk, proof sometimes one's junk is other's treasure

We have quite a few pelican cases at work and although they are built like a plastic tank..I don't like the sectioned foam inserts. Ours have started to seperate between the holes we made for equipment.
