Magpul CTR stocks

Try to stick with name brand companies and they should ship, but if you are unsure just call the International Dept at Brownells, I have called a bunch of times and asked if a certain company was registered with the US state dept or not. In fact I made a list of companies I know cannot be shipped and ones that can.

I made a list of manufacturers that I have personally bought parts of and some other ones who canceled my order because they were not registered with the US State Dept. And just to clarify, some people still don't get it, keep you order under $100 regardless of what gun parts you are buying, over $100 and it will be canceled. And you also can only order from Registered manufacturers or else the order will be canceled. To find out just call the INT DEPT. Hope this info helps.

When did you exactly order them? I last tried on Dec 1st and was denied,are you sure it wasn't the rubber magpuls and not Ranger Plates? ITAR regs consider the ranger plates as magazine parts and thus are blacklisted,importing ITAR parts is risky and some people have had guns confiscated as well as computers. Another thing ,is that new items are being added to the ITAR list daily and soon nothing will ship. If you go to other websites in the US they will not ship CTR's due to ITAR regs, eventually Brownells will do this as well and the CTR will never again be available in Canada.
 
Definitely ranger plates. Ordered Dec 5. Listed on my invoice but the customs sheet had everything listed as "merchandise" not the "gun parts" some people have seen.

I also received a Magpul MOE at the same time.

I also received Ranger plates from Brownell's in a November order. Having said this, consider shopping our Canadian suppliers too... While it may take some phone calls, many suppliers carry the name brands we like. I agree that If its not in stock though you may have to wait a bit.

As an example Ranger plates and Magpul CTR's are available and in stock at dealers here in Canada... and at a similar price to Brownell's once you factor in the exchange rates...

Just a thought... If we don't support our dealers, we may eventually pay the price of not being able to get anything up here...
 
I apologize Dude, when I ordered I actually tried to buy the Magpul USGI Mag Upgrade kit:
includes 3 ranger Floorplates and
3 green magpul brand followers

My order was cancelled due to "hi-cap magazine parts", I guess the followers are what gave me trouble.

that's the one thing that Brownells needs to fix, your order gets canceled and they never tell you which product did it, if they told me I would just not include it and then order all the other stuff I wanted on that order.
 
No problem and no need to apologies! It is getting harder and harder to find some of these items. I have been looking for a Magpul MIAD in FDE for some time, I found a supplier in the US that has them but he won't ship to Canada...

They are the same hard colored plastic (I am sure it's a composite of some sort) as the rest of the magpul products.
 
That's what happened to me Robak, I guess I'm not alone. The laws change daily in the US. But you can still buy the rubber magpul ones that slide over the bottom of the mag, i ended up buying those in green and black. They are pretty good in my opinion.
 
Speaking of CTR's, has anyone tried to use one of those adjustable cheek piece add-ons with a CTR? I'm not sure if the dimensions and holes match up the same as other adjustable stocks. I'm hoping someone has one laying around and can give it a try on a CTR to see if it fits.

you CAN'T use the cheek piece on AR rifle, it is only for shotgun or other rifle adaptor KIT, i have 2 in order, 1/2in. and 3/4in. Will post comments as soon as i get them
