No to go to far off topic but since this has been brought up: From LMT's website I am confused, Any bolt carrier group having the enhanced bolt says to use only in >14.5" barrels. So my take is that the enhanced bolt is a no-no in <14.5" guns ??? But enhanced (increased dwell time) is ok in all guns??

Pet Peeve here: The term Unobtanium is being thrown around to much lately. Obviously since they were for sale...they are NOT unobtanium. They never will be because the is always a chance to get one.
Why do people say 'congrats' and people are 'Lucky Ones' when they drop $4000 on a Rifle. ???

Furet - The LMT enhanced bolt group was specifically designed for the 14.5 bbl.
I belive that the no-no was especially on the carrier, as is has 3 vent holes, decreasing the total dwell time to be easier on the bolt.
on 10in guns it does not work so well.

From my experiences even in my SR16 middy (non E3) the LMT bolt blows ass when the gun gets hot due to reduced extractor spring tension - I had several FTE with the LMT Enhanced Bolt - and none in over 4k since going back to the Colt bolt with Crane O ring.
I had a LMT 10.5 that just would not run in BD with the LMT bolt, it did however work suppressed.
The Bolt Carrier was not used in either of the above rifles.

I think you and KevinB are talking two different issues, I agree with you that the increased dwell time in the enhanced carrier can cause issue with short guns, and I suspect that KevinB's issues are simply with the design of the enhanced bolt.
What's confusing is that LMT has any combination of the carrier / bolt types:
Enhanced F/A carrier
Enhanced S/A carrier
Standard F/A carrier
Standard S/A carrier
Enhance bolt
Standard Bolt
Well in the 10 years I have been building AR's, this is the first I have seen KAC SR-15 being offered to the general public in Canada, the only one that kept coming up in photo ops was our connected KevinB. I would consider that to be pretty darn close to unobtanium. Even RAS have been very hard to come by, I was happy a few years ago when I discovered MSTN in the US then they came up with the damn export laws.
As far as the package goes, KevinB broke it out and if you price all the components, it's a good deal.
Just to throw numbers out:
Base rifle: $1,300
Handguard: $600 FF-RAS, don't think you can get URX
Rear sight: $200
Front sight: $200
KAC match trigger: $200
SOPMOD stock: $200
KAC Single point sling behind receiver: $75
Rail sling mount: $45
Rail panels: $40
Case: $150
Mag: $40
AMBI kits: $50
Diemaca barrel: priceless
Total: $3,100 and I am being very conservative, also most of these items would take a long time to acquire if even possible.
It's an expensive AR but likely the best to out there.
URXII are for sale to the public, new one have a new bbl nut - that allows use of the "normal" M16 bbl nut.
KAC Semi Auto Match 2 Stage Trigger IIRC is around $250 - the FA retails for near $300
The SR15 - and now most of the SR16's and other new guns coming out of the plant have the IWS sling swivels built into the receiver, and the ambi controls.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but keep in mind a few simple facts:
- Any gun is worth ONLY what someone is willing to pay for it;
- Very limited supply vs High Demand = Higher Prices
- The fact that these guns sold out in under 24 hours speaks for itself;
- Lastly... we could have easily saved ourselves 9 months of fighting with US State Department over export permit, saved ourselves the costs of exporting the rifles to Canada and simply sold them in the US. For those that think we would have made less money let me point out that in the last 30 days 4 of these rifles have been sold on GunBroker... 2 sold for $2,625, 1 sold for $2,700 and the last one sold today for $2,800... that's $2,800 US dollars which at recent exchange rates equates to about $3,500.00 not including any shipping, brokerage, permit costs, etc.. I would have made MORE MONEY if I'd just left them in the US and sold them on GunBroker.
- I personally like bringing stuff in that we Canadians can't normally get access to. I like making these items available to other shooters. For those that think the guns are overpriced or that we overcharge all I can say is you are entitled to your opinion. Today 9 people thought the guns were a bargain and snapped them up without hesitation... the tenth gun is mine and since people are already asking me if there are any more I guess I also agreed that it was worth $3,999 since I'm turning down that amount so I can keep one for myself.

Don't worry about 'em Mark...guys are just pissed 'cause they want their own and didn't have the bucks! I wish I had had the free cash, I'd have bought one in a heartbeat!
Since I know you guys don't hear it enough, I just wanted to say that I appreciate all the hard working dealers like yourself, TSE, ARMSEAST, etc... who were willing to take the huge financial risk to start a firearms related business and to jump through the hoops to bring in extremely hard to source firearms and accessories that were previously denied Canadian gun owners.
Given the rather hostile environment toward firearms that successive Canadian governments have created over the past three decades; that takes balls. Good on you guys!

The whole point of the E3 bolt is that it won't have to be replaced like the regular AR15. THe cam pin is also smaller to reduce bolt breakage along the cam pin hole.
The E3 bolt and the cold hammer forged barrel makes this thing tick....

I only saw one post about criticising the gun, black rifle people that have done their homework can surely appreciate this offering, had I had the money I would have picked one up myself.

It's about dealing with all the crap to go out and get something special, I am sure it's easier for Mark to sell RRA and LMT guns. Obviously you haven't got a clue about these guns and the hoops you need to jump through to get first class parts.
