hey i just wanted to know if anyone got there m14s from there last shippment and what do they look like. this is going to be my second rifle and my first semi-auto rifle so as you might think im really excited to get it.

i should also add the this is not a complaint about shipping time or me not getting it on time.i think john and marstar r doing a great job and if they were is charge of the russian sks {that i been waiting over 9 months for} we would all have them by now. im just curious about who got what and when they got it.

happy shooting

Nothing for me yet although I was really hoping I could put one under my Christmas tree but hey, I get it later and my ultimate Christmas gift will make it feel like a great extended holiday. To be honest, I love this anticipation....I feel like I am frozen in this incredible suspense....all my tools, bench, lubricants and other stuff are ready, neatly organized and waiting....my work area looks like a surgery room with everything properly prepared to receive the patient. I love this, man!! I only hope my patient doesn't die on the way here due to some unforeseen circumstances.

Nothing here either, I am thinking early january due to the backlog.

Same for the type 97 I ordered. They were expecting them in December as well, so again maybe january. The 97 will live in the safe until it warms up outside (currently -31 and january will be colder), but at least the M14 will give me something to tinker with over the winter.

I just got my m14 today from marstar, I ordered Dec 1st, looked on the site Dec 2nd and they where sold out. I called wed and they sent it out the same day. I'm working on it right now....and you do need to work on it when it comes in, but looks good!!:sniper:

hey guys i am really happy becuase i got my m14s today. i order i in sept i just got today at like 8:30 am. it is so cool and in really good condition
thanks john and marstar

Lucky you....well, the good thing is that they sarted to trickle in so I am hoping either Monday or Tuesday....just hoping.
So, boys, very quickly, our of the box, how do those babies look? Are they covered in that gunk that needs to be washed off? Do barrels need reindexing? Actions working smooth? What else came with it? Anything missing?
I tell ya, I will get a hard on when I will be opening the box to reveal that beauty. I know that for sure. I get aroused every time I look at the picture at marstar website.

hey abalas my m14 looks great and it does a gunk on it that needs to be washed of. there was nothing missing it even came with a manual but i have not shot it yet. here is a pic i took just after i open the box.

if you go to the main battle rifle form there is a sticky that tell you what to use. but i still in the process if doing that myself so good luck.

2007 on mine, the gun looks great but feels sloppy, the bolt kinda floats around, and as for cleaning I put mine true the dishwasher and it came out Really clean, I just had to put the oil to it, now I'm cleaning the stock to day, I just put some soap and hot water in the sink and washed it down looks good but dry, I'm going to see what I have to put on it..

cheers:sniper:

I just got home and it had been delivered about 7:00 PM on a Sunday night.

Talk about a kid with a new toy...until I got the rifle out of the box.

It's so loaded with grease I will wait until tomorrow, when I have some coveralls on to pull it out of the bag.

This one came from Frontier...the other one from Marstar is still inbound (I hope.)

EDIT: Yeah right...5 minutes after I wrote that I was tugging on the trigger guard getting it apart for the first time.

At first glance I must say I was expecting less...it looks pretty damn good for a $450 rifle.

More to follow.
