My first firearm was a Win. Mod. 67. I don't know what happened to it,got lost over the years I guess. I picked up one on the ee a while ago. Can't believe how accurate they are. Anyone else have any experience with them? Perfect first rifle.
I've owned about a half dozen over the years, plus a couple of the peep sighted versions [Model 68] They have good barrels and shoot well. The only real drawback is the trigger....lousy is the best word to describe the triggers. As you said, a perfect first rifle, and since they have to be "cocked" by hand after loading in order ti fire them, they are easy to teach safety with. Regards, Eagleye.

These guns were $10.00 or less way back when, how good were triggers in cheaper guns back in the day. FS
