You surely know it's a Russian rifle. You can find 19 pages of discussion on it on a well-known Russian firearms forum:

Naturally, it's in Russian. If you are not that fluent in this language, I can tell you that in general public opinion is positive. Regarding functioning, accuracy and especially performance.

I have that rifle in 308 caliber (Los 7-1).

Very accurate and very nice rifle that I shoot well.

I don't think the larger caliber was imported here.
