Since, I have no clue about shotguns please forgive me if the question is stupid.
Is it possible to load GRIZZLY-MAG SHOTGUN manually and avoid use of the magazine?

Thank you

First, the thing with the Mag Feds...
The rails actually ride on the side of the magazine lips meaning you could jam up the 870 pretty good if you were unlucky enough to be cycling the action with no magazine inserted.

The Grizzly can be shot manually, but it is difficult - there is nothing to catch the shell if you can't get it in the chamber on the first try. So yes, upside down and drop it in works.
The Grizzly follower in the mags actually prevent the bolt from moving forward after the last shot so the magazines need to be dropped in order to work the action.

I just woke up... hope this made sense.

Short answer: Yes it can.

True, although the bolt hold open feature of the mags can be removed and mag capacity increased if you cut the bottom of the follower down by about 3/8th or so. This will allow you to drop a fresh shell in the ejection port with an empty mag still inserted and chamber it, really no that bad.

HUH?!?

My grizz is next to my desk just cycled the action 20 or more times no jamb up, never ever have has this problem.

Huh? Mine should have been jammed already. But it's not. Is this how the urban legends start?

You can make it jam with some force and no mag inserted; it's not a big deal as one needs to be intentionally trying to make it jam and using lots of force :)
I mentioned it just incase someone experiences it when firing with no magazine and wants to know what happened.

If you look inside the receiver with mag removed, you can see that the grooved area where forend-tube-arms ride inside are actually missing when compared against the tube-fed 870; this is beacuse extra room is needed to fit the magazines.

To prove this all you need to do is look at the magazine(s) you've been using. You will notice that there are wear marks a few mm's down on each side of the feed lips caused by the arms making contact here; the magazine walls make-up for the missing receiver steel and aid the arms by guiding them when the mags are inserted.

So... if you work the action and attempt to rotate the forend (with force) at the same time (with no magazine), it is possible an arm will bind as it might partially slip out of its guide.

It's an observation I made and I'm just mentioning it. It could even be one of those tolerance-variation things from gun to gun.

You can see from what I've wrote, it's not a serious thing as you need to be trying to do it and again it's only an issue if you are not using the mags; you have nothing to worry about if you are USING the magazines as intended. I'm not trying to scare anyone :)

I really like the mag-fed shotgun idea.

Take your gun apart and bent the slides slightly out,.. I have left the mag out numerous times and continuously rack it back and forth with no problems,. I do this also after I clean it,..

Not saying it can't happen, but if it doesn't sounds like you bent the rails while trying to reassemble the components as I have seen that happen.
