...the round count has nothing to do with the "value" of a match. I'd much rather shoot a 4 stage 80 round match of well thought out stages, with lots of options...rather than a match designed soley on a high round count.
I agree 100%.

1. IPSC Canada has no staff to do something of that magnitude - so it's best delegated amongst the sections especially since (and most importantly) 2. you have to be a member of your section to be a member of IPSC Canada. This was suppose to be about membership fees not matches...
Sean since you chimed in here can you answer a question? ... Why doesn't IPSC Canada collect fees take their cut and then submit the rest to each region... that way I would assume it would be cost effective to offer Credit card, Emt payment of fees???
Nope, sorry.Would this be something that can be done on a regional level ... we all get IPSC Canada membership cards not IPSC (insert Section) cards...

Walter nobody pays 10% fees to M/C or Visa. You are right though, fees do decrease with volume.
Hell there are only 1850 odd IPSC shooters in Canada. I sent my IPSC BC fees in by cheque and got my card today. I don't understand what the problem is doing it by cheque or money order. If you can write send a cheque if you can't send a money order. For small organizations working with volunteer staffing paper in the form of a cheque or Money Order is so much easier to track through the recording process.
