I finally cleaned out my reloading room and was going to start reloading again and was inspecting the 3 boxes of once fired brass I have ran through my new .204 and noticed one spot on the neck of each case is slightly flattened out of round. Not a huge amount but enough to be seen with a visual inspection. All 60 rounds were manually fed one at a time at the range, and with the exception of a case or two that got away on me, all of them were picked out of the receiver as the bolt was opened. Everyone had the identical slight flat spot. Anything to be concerned about? I realize the dies will take this out but am wondering about the cause or if this is frequently seen? Never seen this on any of my 25.06 or 30.06 cases I have reloaded before. Could it be a flaw in the chamber? Gun shoots under 1" groups at 100 yds with factory ammo and frozen fingers. Any input is appreciated.
