Russian SKS45 long thread.

This is true! I think there is something wrong(or right depending who's looking at it) with me that I will fall on love with a purse and not spend $100 on it. But will drop money on guns no problem! I really am a weird one!

I dont buy anything I want, lol. I cheap out as much as possible and I put it all towards this hobby. Sure new boots wouldnt leak, but are boots as cool as parts or ammo.. I THINK NOT. Your not weird at all, unless I am too.

PS: A girl that skips the purse and buys the gun is my type a gal.:p

Know what I got the other day was an awesome pair of combat boots! Like new! I got my son and I both a pair for $60! Leather and water proof and grippy! I love boots.......and guns of course! Lol.

calum : i agree that a non-refurb and unfired are rare so therefore should not be shot . i disagree that none exist .

so what does frontier post means to you when they say its unissued original condition ? could they be wrong? also note rcgmontreal post.

Just today I was notified that we will be getting no fewer then 80 rifles in Unissued original condition shipped Jan 5th. These come from the same batch as the Ell Wood Epps shipment. Any one who had ordered a hand select rifle will get one of these rifles. I will provide more details as they are made available. Because of the few numbers there will not be any extras in unissued condition. Only those who preordered will be able to recieve these.

Well gents, Christmas came early. Just picked up my three Tula carbines, a 1953, 1954, and 1955 in unissued condition and as new. They are absolutely beautiful. Very light storage marks on the stock from shipping them in the crate.

Im on the fence. A non issued is rare and something worth having for a collector, but in the end you've got to make yurself happy. Your hard earned pennies, your gun and you can do what you like with it. Obviously it wont be as much of a rarity if you fire it. Thats why Im going for a refurb. If I got an unissued I would end up mauling over it until I couldnt stand it anymore and then shooting it, then Id regret it later.

I am now officially confused as to the meaning of terms unfired and un-issued! Would a gun that has been test fired at the factory qualify as an unfired?

I'd say so.
I'm trying to confirm if mine's unfired... I see wear marks on the take down lever. How can you even know for sure?

P.S. Can't wait to see the charge appear on the cc, ya baby, ya!

You know what I've been thinking, collectible is only collectible if there is someone who wants them. It sounds like there is alot of them coming into the country so I am going to shoot mine rather than let it sit and gather dust!
