What was your most unique firearm for 2008...

Mine is an M1 Garand

Add an no drill/tap scope mount and a 4X Lyman whose patina matches the M1

Mine was Beretta CX4 Storm. First I waited for 4 months to get her, then sent her for warranty and still don't have her back. Most unique firearm of all that I ever owned.

Wichita Model 1375 single shot, LH port, LH bolt. Set up with a wonderful fully bedded thumbhole stock, 30 inch Krieger, Canjar trigger, peep TR sights, .308 Win.
This may be, my most accurate centrefire rifle.

Being left handed this is one that I would love to see pictures of! :)

I only picked up a couple guns this year. Most interesting is a very old single shot 12 guage. Has about a 36 inch barrel and the only markings on it say "Texas Ranger".

I had to think about this one long and hard since I don't remember buying very many last year (honest honey!).

I'd have to say my M98 Husqvarna in 9.3x62 that I rebuilt with my Dad. Not only a classic rifle in a classic caliber but a great experience all around. Can't wait to get another project on the go. Which reminds me, I have to click on the TradeEx link at the top of the page again...

Post-64 Push Feed is in .35 whelen. 24" Shilen chrome moly barrel, # 5 contour (fairly heavy), fitted to a factory featherweight stock with Pachmayr decellerator pad installed.

An oddity for me. Still getting to know her.

I have one of those as well. I am not sure what to think of it and it has been in the family for about 15 years now.

From 2008? I picked up a few but between two of them, it would hard for me to choose one. The first one would be an old Wnichester High Wall in 219 Donaldson Wasp with a 10X J. Unertl scope of similar vintage. The second, I've just recently acquired, a deluxe model 71 Winchester in 348W.
But, staying in line with the central topic, "my most unique", in reality, probably the 1st one.

A real toss up between a 1946 Marlin Model 81 DL and either one of the 1947 Mossberg Model 151Ms . Both quite unique in their loading patterns. Maybe shooting and reloading for the Winchester 25-35 .

2008 for me.....

Tikka T3 Camo Stainless 270 win w/ Bushnell elite 3200 3-9x40mm

Remington 700 Laminated Thumbhole Stainless 300 Ultra Mag w/ Bushnell elite 6500 2.5-16x50mm
