Russian SKS45 long thread.

I guess the main reason why I wouldn't want to shoot my non-refurb is cause I hear the Birch stock eventually cracks and splits from the recoil. The laminated stocks are supposed to be more resistant to that.

i wouldnt worry about that either , dont forget a stock goes thru alot of abuse on the hands of a soldier , even when they werent shooting it , the stock hits the parade grounds regularly, not to mention , its taken out in all sort of adverse weather conditions.

if you are still concern then you can buy a aftermarket stock just for shooting .

You all notice frontier was offering 20$ off for a SKS and crate of ammo purchase.

Not any more, it will come to 430 + GST for the combo deal, Not 410$

Are these rifles chrome lined any one know?

That was based on a price of $219.00 per case, in the mean time the price dropped $20.00 on the case lots. We are also covering the shipping if the rifle and ammo is shipped together ($20-$40 savings depending on location).
