AR15 lower recievers, and buffer tubes

Can 1, or more of you confirm for me that the threaded portion of all lowers is a standard inside diameter that will accept milspec or commercial buffer tubes.
Or to ask the same question another way, are the threads on all AR15 buffer tubes the same,(be they milspec, or the larger diameter commercial version)?

Yes - you can use both commercial (larger in diameter) or mill-spec receiver extensions.

Do not try to put a north american buffer tube on a Chinese AR lower. Other than that you are good to go!

Could you maybe elaborate what you are talking about?

The thread for all AR receivers other than the Norinco is 1 3/16-16. Norincos are threaded something close to that but metric. The only difference between a milspec and commercial tube is the OD of the tube - 1.14" versus 1.17" The threads are identical.

I just meant that I didn't have any Chinese AR lower receivers. Actually, I didn't know there were any.
