No buttstock? Doesn't look very comfy.

It's an AR Pistol... you can add a 6 Position Adjustable Buttstock for $89.99 as explained on the product description page of our website :)

They're very comfy then :)

Here's the neat thing... as an AR Pistol they are allowed into the US (even though barrel is under 16")... as long as they don't have the buttstock installed when taken to the US... but when in Canada barrel length is not an issue so you can add the buttstock and play as you like.

Best of both worlds.

will you be getting any of the 10.5 inch barrels in the 5.56 ?

RRA doesn't offer their pistol barrels for sale separately and US State Department hasn't been approving export permits for AR barrels under 16"

We have a deal in the works for 10.5" and 14.5" uppers (5.56NATO spec, hammer forged barrels, etc.) but nothing final yet... when it's final we'll announce details but no point in talking about it until then.

oh sorry , i meant the 10.5 inch versions of the pistols in 5.56 .. not the barrel separately.

Are the buffer tubes Milspec?

As you can see from the picture the "buffer tubes" are Pistol type extension tubes. The reference to "mil-spec" or "commercial" tubes applies to rifle type extension tubes where a stock is installed on them.

To install a stock on these guns you replace the Pistol tube with the extension tube of your choice ("mil-spec" diameter or "commercial" diameter and with the number of position adjustments you have chosen).

Are you saying that the RRA pistol AR is legal with a buttstock installed "within" the US? Shooting one at a match, for instance.

Read my post again... I said clearly that as long as they don't have the buttstock installed when taken to the US

Installing a buttstock on an AR Pistol in the US makes the gun a Class III firearm.

Kind of unclear to me, maybe to others, I don't know, as I took it to mean as taken across the border, when there you can reinstall your buttstock.

I don't know squat about their classes of firearms ... I just asked.

Buds without the stock its a "pistol" install the the stock and it becomes a "short barreled rifle".

How does the integral 9mm magwell lower work with the C-Products 10-round mags?

On my RRA 9mm AR I bought, I couldn't get the gun to eject casings (really... at all...) with the C-Products mags until I learned that with a Rock River rifle and the C-Products mags, you have to lower the magwell a couple of mm to get it to function (eject) properly.

I'm curious as to how the combination of RRA lowers and C-Products mags is playing out with these... since presumably you can't make the adjustment of the type C-Products mentions on their website for RRA rifles. I'm thinking that there is a way to get it to work, but it could involve modifying the mags (removing some material from the top) and/or lowering the ejector a bit. That is just a guess. Every gun is a bit different.

Is the mag that these 9mm pistols come with a C-products 10-round, or something else?

BTW, my 9mm AR is working great now and I will have some video to put up on the weekend.

Finally got a chance to test fire one of the new RRA 9mm's with Integral Magwell. Seems to work great. Tried it with the older version modified Uzi mags, and our old polymer version LAR-15 mags and everything worked very well. Also tested with the latest CProducts CP-LAR15-223-10 mags and had no feeding issues whatsoever. Tests were done with several different types of ammo and included "light power" factory re-loads just to see if there were cycling issues and there were none.

The only issue we experienced was what we've seen in past... that the CProducts mags are tight on the outside top of the feed lips and can stick into the underside of the bolt carrier so they may need to be filed slightly (this was previous explained and is covered by an insert that is included when we ship those mags). The other issue that has been discussed previously and affects most 10 round magazines is that there is no extra "give" in the spring when fully loaded, so the mags won't lock in if the bolt is closed... this can be overcome by either downloading to 9 rounds or inserting the mag on an open bolt... or modifying the bottom of the mag follower.
