email from Marlin on Jan 1 requesting confirmation of my SKS order (last previous comm was 03-MAR-08 when the original order was confirmed) and I responded by email to confirm my previous order (along with all the pertinent info).

Can I just relax now and assume all the right things are happening... or should it be keeping me awake at night that Marlin hasn't confirmed receipt of my confirmation?? ;)

Seriously though - if anyone is familiar with Frontier's mail-order process ... Will I receive an email with a reference number to complete the transfer before Marlin can ship (?) and/or an email with a tracking number once the order is shipped (?) ...

I'm going to stalk, I mean call him later today and if they have shipped mine I will get my reference number. If not I will call them tomorrow. They are going to be soooo busy today and tomorrow! I feel kinda sorry for them!!! I can't believe they might actually get here!! I will post pics as soon as it gets here.
 
Frontier will probably due all the transfers by net. So you'll not have to do anything but wait for your gun. No need to call and finish the transfer on your end this way. Much smooother way of doing things I find.

Have some of you overdosed on looser pills??? Give me a F-kN break "its my thread" You talk like your thread is valuable like a piece of lake front property. (it cost you nothing to do) And then theres the whole "newbie" BS and number of posts = importance.

A guy who has been involved with shooting his entire life can find this website and and state something, but because he has one post, some looser who might not even own guns sits on the computer thinks he knows best because he has 500 posts (a post can be something as simple and stupid as a happy face).

Give me a break, if there was a identical site to this ware the same BS went on only the topic was Star Wars, people would be rolling on the ground laughing how stupid people become when they spend to much time on the internet and create this little world of Post counts, and ownership of threads.

When is comes down to fighting on the internet in threads its the same as been in the special olympics, even though you might win, you are still retarted.

Indeed, SKS, right, that's the thread.

I came to my senses and ordered a crate of ammo. Before the Holidays, I mentioned to Marlin I'd only take the rifle, but Santa didn't take away too much money from him, so... phew, lots of ammo coming soon.

I can hardly believe the saga is almost over. Life will be bland after that. :D

Sad news would be that they AREN'T coming... The fact they are delayed till wednesday just increases the anticipation and gives us all something to talk about & look forward to!

i really thought this site was going to be different were you ask a question without being made fun of. but like everywere else u get Regular members have there groups "curtton,teapot,hunterhenderson" and they can do and say anything they want. but if us newbie say any against the big and powerful group we get kick out. u got to love these form
