Soviet Toks, too........

you have seen them before ..they just were not $99 ....pullens had a few with a 9mm kit..

Yup, copy that.... I'd like to know if these $99 jobbies are any different though. Will find out soon enough as I ordered one on line last nite myself. ;)

And on all that.... was looking at the surplus Soviet Toks at Pullens today as a matter of fact... the ones for $269 that come with 2 mags, holster, lanyard etc. Refurbs with WWII dates on them.

I wouldn't mind one of the soviet toks as well, but how available is the ammunition? It would be great to have a semi from WWII.

I earlier reported that my Tok 7.62 was not much louder than other guns on the range. Today I let the guy beside me try it out. OMG What a bark!

It is not as violent in the hand as my 9mm Browning, but is supposed to be similar in power. Accuracy at 10 yards was superb. See results. 2 handed hold, unsupported.

At 20 yards it shot to point of aim OK, but group was much bigger. I think this has to do with range lighting. At 20 yards I had trouble seeing black front sight on a black target. I will paint front sight with some White-Out next time.

My new Norc 1911s are very accurate. So I am hopeful that our $99 specials will be tighter and more accurate than this 1945 Torkarev.
