should be in the manual on how to change out the rails... you wouldneed to buy a whole new rail eh... but they are around, I believe an SL8 rail would fitif you want to mount a scope.....

I spent alotof money on those magazines and pelican case so take care of it eh :)
 
Actually, I see the German army replaced the orginal Hensoldt with a Zeiss Z Point and a small rail. Was thinking of bringing it up to A2 spec...

...so it can sit in the safe some more

all said and done it cost $10k..... sold it for $7500 to a guy in white rock.... I was the third owner..... so it was the gun with dual optics, KAC RAS, pelican case, harris bipod, bipod adapter, 6 magazines, proper bayonet, instruction manual and a M6X light. (i think that was it...)

the guy I bought it off let me buy it on the payment plan so paid a little more then I would have for a cash sale.... as an aside I believe it is the only gun in canada with a G36 KAC RAS... notto many of those floating around in civilian hands.

i say the average price right now would be $6500-$7k for the bare rifle with 2 mags.
 
I don't have one, but have handled and fired one. It left me unimpressed. The SIG, on the other hand, enjoyed a much longer honeymoon after I tried one - so much so that I now have my own example.
 
Does this count? :D Someone made a joke about putting a flare pistol on a gun, so I figured, Why not? Thought it would be a good laugh.

Yup:)

I picked up one of those HK P2 flare guns and found a good supply of the 26.5mm flares. They are a bit pricey, ie. $3.50ish per round, but they had white, green and red. Beats the price of some 40mm para, ie. $50.00 per round, and there is a 40mm to 26.5 adapter that might be fun.
 
Gone Fishing has pen launcher flares and bear bangers. Bear bangers are like a flare but they explode around 60 feet out. Meant to scare black bears away. Canadian Tire's marine section has an orange flare gun.

I'm not sure where that flare pistol came from tho. Black and nice looking.
