fellow gun girls?

My wife is on here occasionally, & goes by the handle "Huntress". Her most recent purchase is a PINK 10/22, check it out in the Rimfire forum.

haha thanks for all the replies everyone!!! lol i've been to the batting cages in heels but never the gun range. ah well. the "girls with guns girls" seem to do it in bikinis or less so me wearing my fave heels should not be an issue. cant decide whether the white ones or the red ones match my M14 better though. ;) ps my hair isnt actually pink. as much as i wish it sometimes was.
 
Great!! Please also encourage your other female friends to try out shooting sports. We need all the help from our opposite ### counterpart to introduce the sports more.
 
Hello gals & guys, nice to see the ladies coming out!

I've been shooting for about 2 1/2 years, gradually doing it more as time goes by. I shoot mostly IDPA and am a safety officer for IDPA. I had a chance in 2008 to try out trap, black powder, and 3 gun matches, and all were a lot of fun.

I wouldn't be interested in hair and nail talk, but I would like to talk about the unique challenges some women can face in the sport....from cocky dudes at the range to how hard it is to find certain gear that works with a woman's shape and size! Lol.

I haven't been on-line in a little while, but hubby pointed this thread out to me.

I have been shooting for about 18 years (wow, it's been that long?).

I prefer military rifles (that's where I started shooting) and I have been having a lot of fun with my 'personalized' M&P 9mm at the local Defensive Pistol shoots:

Im fairly new to CGN myself (have just been lurking for a while) and have been shooting for a little more than five years. Its nice to see the female presence on here. Welcome!
 
I'm new into shooting too. My Avatar is of me shooting one of badboybeeson's Pumps. (and they are not my high heels heels either!)

Haha - very true; seems like my gf's been bitten by the bug and is looking to get her pal, rpal and core, so that'll be another one to the woman's side of cgn.

Ever try Sporting Clays? You might enjoy it. It's been described by some as "golf with guns". If you do try it, see if you can actually use a golf power cart for getting around the course. If they aren't available, I'd advise bringing a pull cart or a wagon of some kind (carrying guns, ammo, food, drinks, etc. can get a bit tedious after a while - doable, but it detracts from the fun).
 
I tried to get my wife interested in this site. She said sure, right after I let her show me around CanadianShoppingnutz.com. She has her black belt in spending and my gun craving is taking a bite out of her bling budget. This is why firearms have been blacklisted around here. She always says: "we (royal we) don't need any more guns.
