Does anyone in Canada sell a 10 round magazine for a Remington 7600? Eagle
makes a clear or smoke plastic one but I can only find them in the U.S.

I'm fairly certain they are illegal here, I think you can have max 5 in a centre fire rifle. Could be wrong though. But that is probably why you can't find them here. I also have a 7600, except for a missfeed at a very crutial moment it has done me well. The miss feed made me lose out on a 160+ whitetail.

There are members on here with 10 round mags for their 7600's. Unfortunately I don't know where they purchased them so I can't help you there. 5 round mag limit is for center fire semi-auto rifles only. If you are hunting with your 7600, local hunting regulations may put a limit on mag capacity.

The Eagle mags are illegal here. Remington may have two seperate mags for the semi and pump models, but the Eagle mags were advertized as being for both, not designed for the pump and just happens to work in the semi.

The only model with a legal 10 round mag is the 7615.

The 5 round magazine limit is only for centerfire Semi-automatic rifles. The Remington 7600 is a pump action rifle and is not subject to such restrictions.

Thanks for the information gentlemen. The mags are for my father-inlaws
7600. Another coyote hunter in his party uses one and he's been driving me
crazy to find him one. I don't know why he wants it...he can't hit anything with that 7600. Two weeks ago, he started to use his 25.06 again and dropped 2 coyotes! I just use the "Black Special".

7600(76, 760)mags fit into the 7400 (74, 7400) line so there is the problem.
Any magazine designed to fit a semi auto rifle that holds more than 5 rounds is a prohibated device.

yup illegal as all gitty up.

Unless of course you cram a mag intended for a 742-7400-750 into it, and then it does.

People need to remember, its not just what gun it fits into, its what 'guns' its designed for. AFAIK almost anyone who makes a mag for the 7600 also advertises it as being suitable for a 7400 and therein lies the problem.

The 7600 is indeed a pump but the mag still fits a semi - the 7400 - thus making it illegal.

It falls under the same category as the 20 and 30 rd mags for the AR15 and the Tubb 2000 bolt action.

you're missing nothing anyway= i HAVE one in 308 and it constantly used to misfeed, and the back end in it ( the receiver latch) was cut too big and it was constantly dropping out of battery- moreover, you had to install an extended latch( which came with the mag) - ie the factory latch and the eagle mag don't line up- bottom line is it's in my gun junk box somewhere
moreover, the hold back feature isn't there- ie it's BUILT FOR THE 76 series
