For the last two years I have really started to do alot of predator hunting and have enjoyed it alot. I was using a .22-250 that I bought for a build but it's tore apart now and I don't really want to completly destroy the hide with my hunting rifles so I am looking at a simple budget custom for next year. Probably a savage action, pac nor barrel, mcmillan stock. Not really sure what direction I want to go with picking a round to chamber it in. I liked the .22-250 but there are so many choices out there
Looking for something that puts them down reliably with good shot placement but doesn't rip them in two. Also would like it to work well in a short action.
