I voted 22-250. Weighing pros and cons i just think this has the most going for it. Yes, pelt damage can be a problem if shot placement is poor. For me this is almost always on frontal shots when i hit the shoulder or on broadside hits that are too high and hit the spine. Messy.

Great range, shoots flat enough to about 350 yards coyote sized game. Good knockdown power. Low recoil, though just enough to lose the sight picture.

I'm interested in the .204 for a calling rifle, but probably not til i enter the world of reloading.
