WHAT.....I do not see any Mossbergs....lol...lol.....Very nice collection...It would be great to have an Enfield .22 to go with my .303 and .410 Enfield #1 Mk III*s. I have a few Mossbergs and will enjoy shooting them when weather permits.

It's a Savage 1917 NRA Target Model. The first rimfire Savage produced was made to look like the Springfield 1903, which was popular perhaps due to the war. Later versions would be more "sporty" looking.
I am very jealous of the owner of this fine and rare rifle!
I don't mind sharing during this festive season!!

I don't know much about them except that they are as accurate as all get out and the trigger goes off with a whisper. Whoever made the thing certainly knew what he was doing.
A buddy of mine might know a bit more about them so I will pick his brain tonight and get back to you here.

The model is not written anywhere on my rifle. A few years ago, I went on the web and got the info from a Swiss gunsmith. He was telling me though that the trigger sensitivity switch was not an original device. Your picture seems to prove him wrong. Interesting.
Have you done the wood job yourself ? Mine is quite dull .
Range 10/22 shooters with baseball-bat scopes don't take the rifle seriously at first but they change their mind very quick. The scope is a $25 Tasco . Very very surprising.

Some of my little herd of Model 1920 Fiala pistols, wearing their long-nosed "Carbine" disguise. Bottom one is a factory "Special Order" with 12 1/2" barrel. About 9,000 of these guns are estimated to have been made in New Haven, Connecticut. Lower pic shows their high-end offering of the 3-bbl. set in a fitted, velvet-lined carry case.
Kinda' hard to find these days.

Yup the set trigger screw is stock. Both of my Walther KKM models have it. I've also seen these models referred to as a KKJ-T. However I believe they are in fact KKM. The triggers on both of mine are pretty good.
My Walther KKJ pictured at the bottom, doesn't have the trigger adjustment device. Also on the KKJ the safety is located going through the stock rather than on the bolt and it's fed by a 5 round magazine.
My Walther with the light coloured stock is exactly the way I bought it. I did however put a few coats of Hawes Old English Oil on it. It's a wood treatment that I use on my antique furniture. It got rid of the dull look. I'd recommend giving it a try. It's not expensive and works well.
