Remington 40X

This will probably be the most accurate 22 I could hope to own. With Target Sights at 100 metres I had 1.25 and 1.75 inch groups. I got the scope on last night but "DL" would not permit me to go to the range.

You gotta love those 40xes. Here's another in an HS Precision Tac stock.
.... and a few 100m signatures.

Except for the Eley Club batch # CL155, all are 10 shot groups - dots are .75"

Hey, you bought that from the old fellow who watches over the range; good to see that it found a good home. Yeh; just too darn cold (and I'm a die-hard!)

i got bitten by that 10/22 bug once, and spent a small fortune on it like everyone else, but it was so darned heavy for a .22, what with the 20" heavy barrel, and really heavy thumbhole stock i got bored by it and sold it like so many seem to.

this time around i wanted to go as light as possible, plus i always wanted to try out a remmy nylon, so it worked out:)

i even managed to stop myself from buying the highest power scope i could afford for it, and went with a nice little bushnell banner 1.5-4.5 X 32.

Savage Mark II BTVS .22 LR

Savage Mark II BTVS .22 LR. (Made in :canadaFlag:, eh?)
Mueller 8.5-25x44AO mil dot.
Oversize bolt handle.
Work in progress. Have Harris bipod and better 1-piece base/ring setup to put on. Then action bedding, I think. (Open to suggestions on the bedding; haven't done it before.)

Snowday

It is a snow day on the Island. So in a valiant effort to avoid the “Honey-Do List” I figured that I would take some photographs and post to the CGN.

From top to bottom:
Ross 1912 (sport?)
Anschutz /CIL 190
Walther Sportwaffentabrik (JJK?) with a homemade stock to get it down to the 4.5 kg needed for the Canadian Sporting rifle rules. I also had to add a spring to the trigger to get it up the 1 kg pull.
Savage/Anschutz Mark 12 it also has a homemade stock but this one is to fit a southpaw.
Anschutz Super-Match 1913
Anschutz Match 1907 LH, this is a true left hand bolt action rifle with both the bolt and the sight adjustment on the correct side for a southpaw.

New To Me

New to me Anshutz 64 SBR, New in box unfired, just showed up one day with the return address of yet another gunnut on the box. Sorry for the poor pictures, planning on taking more once I get the Weaver T36 mounted and a few targets to show off.
