I was told today at a local shop (checking them out myself) that some of the factories produce good ones, some crap, there is no specific regulations on their quality (or so I was told)... so if you buy one its a crap shoot whether its gonna be a good one or not

I have three, 2 in 45ACP and one in 9mm. They are all great with excellent accuracy. The trigger pull improve a bit this year as compared to the one I bought 2 years ago. No one will regret buying a Nork 1911.

I see Frontier firearms has Springfield's GI M1911. How about that one? I'm thinking of "driving" through the red light and buying it on credit card, although I don't have the funds right now; I should have money in few months but it might not be available then.

They have lay away at Frontier. Throw some cash down, and you're covered.;) Give Marlin a call once you figure what you want, and find out more.
