Russian SKS45 long thread.

BWEST & VALASHNIKOV- let's keep our fingers crossed Marlin ships all of us out a rifle from the IZH batch. I ordered the "select grade" 11 or 12 months ago- it will really bite if we open up our long awaited parcels only to find gorgeous rifles with bastardized mag wells- burnt bluing and distorted serial #'s. VAl- if you are having trouble getting the smile off your boys face I recomend making him bite into lemmons :p

Well if your rifle is being sent this week it will be a IZH as they have not received the Bell order yet .

Yes , next_of _ kin, ---- You got that Right !!!!!!!!!! ---- I spoke to him regarding same, So Lets Hope Thats Not The Case !!!!!
 
Really?! I'm lost! I thought Bell was the original order, and that's the shipment Marlin got in ASWELL as some IZH. Guess I was wrong- wich is good news to me- I confirmed my order a week or more ago- so I sure do hope that it's this week they ship it. Like a lot of others I only placed my order only about 52 weeks ago!

You are right Bell was the original order but it hasn't arrived yet
So all of us lucky enough to get there guns shipped now get the good ones .

Wow this is really a bumber reading all of this since I only decided to get a SKS 2 weeks ago. To find out that you guys have been waiting months for yours and that they are going to be the better quality rifles is great! I was going to put in a order for their next shipment but I am reserved now after hearing that they are going to be the lesser quality "Bell" versions. I really just want one rifle, no laminate stocks and no paint on the blueing. I would love unissued but a re-furb is great aswell. I just have no idea how to go about getting it, is this a shipment that I should order out of???

Hey they are still Russian SKS rifles . There is nothing wrong with the Bell rifles just not quite as nice as the IZH .

X2 Like I said before if I had a local store with them in stock that I could go to and pick out the one I wanted I would have canceled both SIR & Frontier orders & been more than happy paying a bit more for them .
