Finally have the toy in my hands (maybe I should rephrase that). As advertised, the stealth model (no Norinco stamps on it, just a mysterious CN 08 CA on the right side of the slide and Z and I on opposite sides of the trigger guard. Little sharp around the edges as expected, attractively packaged with little bags of dessicant and the owner's manual, highlights of which I post below:

-The muzzle must be always pointed to a safety direction
-When don't use it further, the pistol must be unloaded and kept in a safety place
-Never take road sings, trees etc, as firing targets
-Never climb trees, do hurdle race or leap over other obstacles with a loaded pistol (there goes NAA's fun then)
-Don't take part in shooting sport while being drunk or after taking any anaesthetic
-For each shooting, the user should take responsibility for his/her own..
-Never fire at rocks or water, because they can cause the bullets bounced back

Yeah. Those frackers then turn around and sell for $650. Some dealers got greasy too.

I fully agree with you. Its not like buying and flipping a car for some extra cash. The gun crowd is a tight knit and persecuted community and I think its quite a sad and dishonorable practice to blatantly take advantage of fellow enthusiasts. Now on to the pics please!

I ordered on the 24th and it's still queued (no change in status)... I hope I'm not being forgotten because I'm all the way east in Quebekistan!

That would really suck! :(

Someone got it finally? Or it will be the same story as with "Russian SKS" thread?
Picked mine up from the PO yesterday, as I noted above. Initial pics were not of CGN quality. I don't know why everyone's so worked up about pix, CanAm posted one before and it's a Nork Tokarev 9mm...not much more to say. Sharp edges etc. don't show up well in images anyhoo.

Cant' say I've seen a Nork Tokarev clone before so don't know what they look like in person, do they have chrome lined barrels?

Until you post some pics we will all have to assume that you are a liar:D

Grrr...up at the range today I made the discovery that my new Tok won't chamber my handloaded 9mm's...slide won't close all the way (I do use the Lee Factory crimp die). I took my M&P along just because, and it fired the handloads with no problems. Didn't have any factory ammo with me to try out, but now have a box of Blazer Brass to (hopefully) run thru it next time. The slide is a real bugger to pull back with bare hands on a cold day. Colour me annoyed at this point. I await the baying of the CGN hounds...

If it's a true Tokarev clone I don't think you're supposed to pull the slide back while it's un-cocked. With my TT-33 I can't slide it with it un-cocked and I'm not a 98lb weakling, either.

My noc 7.62 tok, is very hard to rack un-cocked, and the slide locks at half ####. Handy it will stop you from racking the slide when the hammer falls to halfcock because you hit the safety half on.........Just wait you'll see.
