2009 Puma SA 22lr?

Was just reading some of the 2009 shotshow coverage and apparently
Puma is planning on coming out with a semi-auto 22lr carbine,16" barrel, wood or synthetic stock and, get this, a 50 round drum mag

anyone have any more info on this?

People know what you're talking about, but a lot of people take that very much at heart and will bite your head off for that mistake (It's way up there with "your/you're").

Hopefully it has a speedloader and is at least moderately reliable.

According to their catalog, the cheapest model is US$525 and the 50 round mag is US$105.

In the shotshow coverage it said it will come with the 50 round drum and there will be optional 10 and 30 round mags available

The real question is how reliably will it feed with that 50 rd. drum.

Also included in the package is a loading assist tool (50 round magazine only), to aid in recharging the magazine.

It has a 33.5" overall length and a 16" barrel.

The wooden 50 round package is 585 USD, and the synthetic is 550 USD.

30 round box mag is 74 USD.

That is an exact copy of my old Bingham pps-50, that thing shot like a raped ape. I kick myself for getting for trading it off for an ak.
To load the drum there is a special bent heavy wire tool to press the last round down while dropping the new round in the feed lips. I still have some extra tools if any one gets one of these. I really wish I hadn't seen this thread
